Clourou

Twitter / X

Run a scheduled AI agent on your Twitter / X — unattended.

Social MediaAPI key

Give your Clourou routines access to Twitter / X so they can search posts, track engagement, and publish on a schedule — without you watching the timeline.

What you can automate

  • Mention monitor: Search recent posts that mention your handle every few hours and summarize what people are saying.
  • Keyword watch: Track a hashtag or brand term, then collect the top new posts into a daily digest.
  • Scheduled posting: Publish a queued update or thread at a set time each day or week.
  • Engagement report: Pull post analytics and new follower counts every Monday and log the week's numbers.

Connecting

X / Twitter has no one-click connector yet — X's official MCP server, XMCP, is self-hosted rather than a hosted endpoint. To use it with Clourou: get X API access (an X Developer account), run XMCP on an always-on host with your credentials, then add its public HTTPS URL on the Connections page as a Custom MCP server. Since routines run unattended, the server has to stay reachable — a local-only setup won't work for scheduled runs.

Routine templates using Twitter / X

Frequently asked questions

Can a scheduled AI agent monitor mentions of my handle on X / Twitter?

Yes. A routine can search recent posts that mention you every few hours and summarize what people are saying, then email you a digest.

Can Clourou post to X / Twitter on a schedule?

Yes. A routine can publish a queued update or thread at a set time, once you've connected an X MCP server with posting access.

How do I connect X / Twitter to Clourou?

There is no one-click connector yet. X's official MCP server (XMCP) is self-hosted, so you get X API access, run XMCP on an always-on host with your credentials, and add its public HTTPS URL as a Custom MCP server.

Why won't a local-only X MCP setup work?

Routines run unattended in the cloud, so the MCP server has to stay reachable at a public HTTPS URL — a server that only runs on your laptop won't be up when a scheduled run fires.

Can it report on engagement?

Yes. A routine can pull post analytics and new follower counts on a cadence and log the week's numbers for you.
