Daily web-scrape digest
Every weekday, run an Apify scraper you choose, pull the fresh results, and email a summarized digest of what's new.
Every weekday at 8am, run my chosen Apify scraper, pull the results, and email me a summarized digest. 1. Pick the Actor. Use the Apify Actor I name below (search the Apify Store to confirm the right one). If I haven't named one, search for an Actor that fits the task I describe and tell me which you chose. - Actor: <name the Apify Actor, e.g. "apify/google-search-scraper" or a jobs/listings/reviews scraper> - Input: <the query, URL, or search terms to scrape — e.g. "remote product manager jobs" or a competitor URL> 2. Run it and wait for the run to finish — or, if a fresh run isn't warranted, read the latest finished run's dataset instead. Keep the input modest so it stays within my Apify usage. 3. Read the run's dataset (the structured items it scraped) and pull the fields that matter — title, price, location, date, URL, and so on. 4. Summarize for email: lead with a one-line headline (how many items, the standout). Then a tight list of the most relevant items, one or two lines each with a link. If you can tell what's new versus a previous run, call it out; otherwise just summarize the current results. Keep it skimmable — short bullets, links included, most relevant first. If the Actor run fails, returns nothing, or the dataset is empty, say so plainly instead of guessing or padding. Run the Actor at most once per execution — runs consume my Apify usage.

How it works
- Attach your Apify connection — the routine searches the Apify Store, runs the Actor you choose, and reads its dataset results using your Apify API token. It only runs the one Actor you point it at.
- Apify has thousands of ready-made scrapers (search engines, maps, social, e-commerce, generic web crawlers), so you can monitor almost any source — jobs, listings, prices, reviews, mentions — without writing or hosting a scraper yourself.
- Keep "Email me the result" on to get the summarized digest in your inbox each morning.
Make it yours
- Swap the Actor and input — point it at a different scraper (Google Maps, Instagram, Amazon, a site-specific crawler) with your own query or URL.
- Change what it highlights — filter by price, location, recency, or keywords so the digest matches exactly what you care about.
- Adjust the cadence — weekly for a market scan, or a few times a day during a launch or an active job hunt.
Your connection stays yours: the API token is encrypted at rest, and the agent only runs the Actor you choose and reads its results. Actor runs consume your own Apify plan's usage.
