Morning note resurfacing
Resurface a few older Mem notes worth revisiting, plus yesterday's captures, every morning.
Every morning, help me get value out of notes I've already written by resurfacing a few and recapping what I just captured. From my Mem workspace: - Recap anything I captured yesterday in a line or two each, so nothing gets buried. - Then resurface 2–3 older notes worth revisiting — ideas I never acted on, useful references, or things that connect to what I'm working on now. For each, a one-line reminder of what it says and why it might be worth a second look today. Keep it short and inviting, not a data dump. Read only — don't change any notes. If there's nothing useful to resurface, just recap yesterday.
Mem resurfacing — 30 Jun 2026 Captured yesterday • "Idea: onboarding checklist as a progress bar" • Meeting notes — pricing review Worth revisiting • 🔁 "Cold email angles" (Apr) — you drafted 4 hooks and never used them; the #2 fits this week's launch. • 🔁 "Book notes: Hooked" (Feb) — the trigger→action loop maps onto the onboarding idea above. • 🔁 "Competitor teardown: Acme" (May) — their pricing page is a good reference for the revamp.
The best note is the one you actually revisit — but most notes are written once and never seen again. This routine recaps yesterday's captures and resurfaces a few older notes worth a second look every morning, so your Mem workspace keeps paying off instead of just growing.
How it works
- It uses Mem to recap recent captures and pick a few older notes worth revisiting.
- One short, inviting digest lands in your inbox each morning.
- It's read-only — the routine surfaces notes, it never edits or creates them.
Make it yours
- Tune how many notes it resurfaces, or bias it toward a topic you're focused on.
- Switch to a few times a week if daily is too much.
- Have it tie each resurfaced note to what's on today's calendar for extra relevance.
